How this site works and how it is paid
Last updated .
roofinstallationdenver.com is an independent lead-generation publisher. It is not a roofing contractor, a licensed installer, a manufacturer, a public adjuster or an insurer. Nobody who works on this site installs, repairs or inspects roofs, and the site holds no municipal roofing license.
What happens when you request quotes
- Your request (service, ZIP, property details, roof age, insurance status, contact details and anything you wrote) is sent to one or more roofing contractors who serve your ZIP code and hold a current license or registration from the municipality your property sits in. Colorado issues no state roofing license, so we check the register of the city that licenses the work — in Denver, Community Planning and Development — before a contractor receives requests, and we show the date of that check on the contractor's introduction.
- Those contractors pay us for the introduction. The fee does not change your price; the contractor's quote is between you and the contractor.
- Contractors may call, text or email you. Calls placed through our tracked numbers may be recorded so we can verify that the request was delivered; Colorado is a one-party-consent state (C.R.S. 18-9-303).
- We do not perform, supervise, inspect or warranty any work, and we take no part in your insurance claim. Contracts, permits, warranties, claims and complaints are with the contractor and your insurer.
What we do not do
- We do not publish reviews, ratings or testimonials that we have not verified, and at present we publish none.
- We do not rank contractors by how much they pay us.
- We do not sell your details to anyone other than the contractor(s) matched to your request, and we never pass them to an insurer.
- We do not state a price of our own. Every price on the site is a published figure from a named source with the date we read it.
- We do not introduce a contractor who offers to pay, waive or rebate your insurance deductible. C.R.S. 6-22-105 prohibits it.
If a partner behaves badly
Tell us at hello@roofinstallationdenver.com with the contractor's name and what happened. A contractor who works without a permit or a city license, offers to cover a deductible, refuses a written contract, or pressures a homeowner into signing at the door is removed. You can also complain to the city that licenses them and to the Colorado Attorney General's consumer protection unit.
Common questions about how we are paid
Do I pay anything for a quote?
No. Homeowners never pay us. Contractors pay for the introduction, and that fee does not change the price they quote you.
Will my details be sold to other companies?
No. They go to the licensed contractor or contractors matched to your ZIP and service, and to the form and call-tracking providers that carry them. Nothing goes to data brokers, and nothing goes to an insurer.
Who is responsible if the work goes wrong?
The contractor. They hold the license, the contract, the permit and the warranty. We are a publisher and are not a party to the job. See our editorial policy for how we source what we publish.
